Im a pretty big DBZ fan, but I've only seen 2 of the movies (Tree of Might, Bardock). I thought they were pretty good. So are the Broly movies any good? I've heard the 3rd one is awful, but the first two people say good and bad things. Would it be worth 20 to 30 dollars for the 3-pack? Thanks a lot.

I personally liked the first Brolly movie (movie 8), and I thought that the second one (movie 10) was not bad, but it definitely wasn't that great. The third one (movie 11) was really a waste of my time. It's defintely worth $20 for a 3-pack though. If you look at the ZStore, they're selling the individuals for $20 or over a piece. So it's definitely worth it, considering the prices of the individuals. Also, since you like the movies, and you've seen the Bardock Special (which was my personal favorite), you should really go for the Trunks Special (aka The History of Trunks) which is another of my personal favorites. After I save up enough money I plan on buying myself that and the Bardock special on DVD. I used to have them on VHS, but I lent them to a friend who moved to another part of the state, and I have never seen him nor my movies since.

It’s been a while since I watched the first two Broly movies so I can’t really comment on them but I recently watched the third one and here’s my opinion (involves some spoilers so read at your own risk): spoiler[I kind of have mixed feelings on the third Broly movie. One thing I liked about it is that it focuses on Mr. Satan, 18, Trunks, and Goten as opposed to Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo. On the other hand Broly has now become Swamp Thing because some guy wants revenge Laughing I’m not really a huge DBZ fan but I’d say it’s at least worth seeing.] And if you can get all three for $20-30 dollars you’d be saving a lot more than you would if you bought them individually.

I'd get it. That "Broly Box" has a really good price.

The 8th Movie, 1st Broly Movie, is pretty much good. Although the ending dissappointed me. But story and comedy were pretty decent as was the fighting.

The 10th Movie, is also pretty good. Good fighting and funny moments. One of the coolest "boss endings" in the whole DBZ series.

Bio Broly I really liked. Mainly because of the reasons mentioned above. We finally get to see other people in the DBZ spotlight.

Just to remind you that these movies, specially the latter 2, sort of go back to the original Dragonball way of story-telling, comedy and brief nudity (penis and pee-ing), rather than the more action oriented side of DBZ, well the first one was mainly action.

Thanks a lot you guys. I'll buy the 3 pack, its a really good deal. That sounds awesome that the last 2 movies are kind of back to the Dragonball storytelling. And i'll be sure to check out the Trunks Special too, Sharingan. Thanks!

Good god, I hate it when that happens. I'm still waiting on my friend to return my Ninja Scroll DVD from about 4 years ago. Guess I'll never see that again - £20 down the drain...

My general policy now, is NEVER lend stuff to people, unless you live with them. All of my stuff has disappeared from when I lived at home - my brother just lent all my stuff to his friends and then forgot about it.

I also lent my VHS copies of ALL 13 movies, all 4 missing episodes and the GT movie retelling the red ribbon arc to a friend whom i haven't seen or heard from in years...

Hmm, while the Brolli movies weren't quite my favorite DBZ movies they were decent enough, buying the three movies for 22$ is too good of a deal for any DBZ fan. I'll get it some time.

(OT) This is why I don't lend people stuff, specially anime DVDs. Not only do I keep my stuff in the best condition I can, but you never know how other people will treat those items.

When people ask me for stuff I always burn a copy and lend them the copy. I tell them I burnt it for someone else so they need to give it back when they are done, then I just stick it in with the original and when someone else asks me for it, I let them borrow that volume/movie. I bought 300 DVDRs for $8 so this process isn't really that expensive for me.

What program do you use? I'm looking for a good one to get(buy).

I've been banned/suspended a couple of times for breaking the rules, and I think this is a rule that I cannot tell you how to obtain a program that lets you illegaly burn media. I also don't know if it's illegal to talk about legal programs you have to buy to do illegal stuff like burning copyrighted materials... Confused. If you can find a way to talk to me out of this website (cough) Yahoo Instant Messenger (Cough) then maybe I can tell you about it.

Oh and I found a free program in in less than an hour after I realized I couldn't burn "copyrghted media" with the program that comes with the burner. I just used the Yahoo search engine. AND I did it with a dial up connection.
