I haven't read the LN version (only manga so far) but I agree that the anime adaptation was pretty mediocre, at least for me.

This should make for a good license. It's complete and should be 4 volumes, I think. Maybe Seven Seas?

while the anime adaption was pretty horrid (and went off the original plot) the light novels are actually pretty good and the manga is a hell of alot better than the anime ( to bad it takes for ever to translate them). im kinda sad that its ending i want to know whats going to happen, i feel like alot of manga/light novel series are ending this year

So please tell us all why you're happy that the light novel series is ending because the anime was supposedly 'really awful' (in your oh-so-eloquent words)?
