That girl in the cover is from France right? *took a hint from episode 1
Anyways, I might give the LN a shot in the future, maybe.

As adults? Not happening. They will probably make it clear that they're in a relationship, but without timeskip, and that's where it ends.

hmm considering there is only a 3-4 year time skip between each character.. yeah I could see that happen.

Oh, please tell me he does not go the loli route. I was really hoping it would not turn into a romance. Why do these things always have to go that way? Can't it just be about the Basketball and cute girls playing it, and if there needs to be romance why not with the girl that is actually his own age?

Oh yes, I did. But there are various things pointing out it won't be like that in this case.
First off, he's going to continue publishing RKB works, just the main story will be concluded. I think it would make it harder to work with an epilogue.
Secondly, the author is making RKB for lolicons, without being apologist about it. I'm almost sure he doesn't intend to finish this with time-skip when the whole franchise is about "elementary school girls are the best".
@switchgear1131
It's not like there are a whole lot of loli x older guy romance in anime, ever. What do you mean "always"?
When the whole series is based heavily on Tomoka x Subaru romance with basketball as seasoning, of course that's the natural flow of the things.
Aoi (the girl his age) is only there to be a love rival for Tomoka, even if she will never truly threaten the main romance.

There'S only a 4 years difference between them. Acording to canadian law (I know, it's Japanese, and it should follow japanese law) it is okay to date an adult, the maximum being a 4 years difference. (Well, you can have a bigger afe gap, but it's to the discretion of their parents)

This reminds me of two other fallacies. People say harems always end in harems, why cant they ever chose --> thats actually wrong with other than Tenchi there being really no other main stream harem that actually ends in a harem ending, ie a confirmation of the guy/girl with the guys/girls.
The other one is the childhood friend never wins --> this one is also wrong, Shuffle is one example where childhood friend wins, granted he has two of them, but still, Da Capo is another one where I would say that is the outcome, and there are plenty of others.
People just like to exaggerate these statements.

I would like for the story to end in a way that makes sense for the characters and what has been developed in the story so far. Wanting it to be specifically loli or not loli or harem or not harem seems selfish to me.
