Okay, a similar thread was locked down, so I'm trying to follow Tony K.'s instructions.
Another thing, I have ABSOLUTLY NO CLUE who the hot under 20 yrs. old actors/actresses are so I have no suggestions for Ed, Al or Winry. Okay, Here I go: Riza Hawkeye - Scarlett Johansen. I saw her on The Island and really liked her character there plus the movie. I think that she'd do pretty good. Roy Mustang - Johnny Depp. Yes, I like Johnny but I also think that he is one of the most versatile actors around these days. I think that the man can play anything. Kain Furey - Neil Grayston. Pride/Bradley - John Travolta. I think that he could do it. Play the nice, friendly and cheerful ruler one minute then play the absolute SOB, cold-blooded, sword-wielding murderer the next. Gracia Hughes - Reese Witherspoon. She just too cute and sweet. Lust - Angelina Jolie. Yes, I'm being obvious. But, I think that she would work quite nicely. Armstrong - Younger version of Hulk Hogan. Sorry, I'm also not up on the pretty boy, full-of-themselves wrestlers. Greed - Adam Baldwin. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000284/ He was Independence Day and Serenity. No he's not one of the Baldwin brothers. This is probably a streach on my part but I've loved this guy (as an actor) since I saw him in Independence Day. Sloth - Charlize Theron. Last but not least on my list is: Major Hughes - Jim Carrey. Yes, Jim Carrey! Because Jim could pull off the being absolutely ga-ga over his wife and baby to being absolutely serious about helping out Mustang get to the top to driving Mustang ape-sh**. Okay, there's my fantasy cast.  Please don't rag on me too hard.

I like both Scarlett Johansen and Johnny Depp as actors, however that said my concern is chemistry. I think that these two just wouldn't have the ability to keep things so low porfile, (in term of their affection for one another) specifically Depp.
Agreed 100% Angelina has that ability to be very sexual, and yet at the same time show the compassion as human for others. And I know some of you are thinking that Lust doesn't have a human side however (spoiler throught Vol 9) spoiler[I think that she still was the best homonculus who had a chance to leave the group and live her life out in peace.] Till next time, Delta Kiral |

I don't know if Al would really need a big star to play him, for the most part wouldn't the actor be doing the same thing as the seyuu and voice actor? If anything they may need to find someone big enough to walk around in that suit of armor. But since this is a fantasy cast, I'll say we can time travel, turn the clock back a few years and have Haley Joel Osment play Al.
For Edward I think maybe Shia LaBeouf, I know he is mostly known for his disney channel stuff but I thought he did a great job in both I Robot and Constantine. I know he may not be blonde but wigs are available, and he does have a very important trait, he's short. He's also kind of goofy, but can turn around and play serious well too. I don't know about Winry though, I haven't seen a movie recently with a really good young female actress. If we could time travel again and go way back to the early 1990s, we could get Claire Danes, of My so Called Life fame, to play Winry.

This is sort of iffy but I think that he does brooding, tormented and troubled well. Pinako Rockbell - Susan Sarandon. Just because I'd like to see her play a tough old bird. 
Hoenheim Elric - Sean Bean. Wonderful actor. I've liked him for a long time. He can play good guys, bad guys and people who are both.http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000293/ Envy - Tilda Swinton. She played Gabriel in Constantine and did a really good job in that and as the Snow Witch in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. Had he not like...died, I'd go for River Phoenix a few years before he passed away. He was one GOOD actor, and pretty. He made a great blonde. I couldn't find any good pictures of his hair like that though ^^ (although he was doing the long blonde thing for a while.) Great at being pouty. Yay. My other idea was the middle Hanson brother a few years back (who’s still pretty. The other two are now funny lookin’), but I don’t think he can act. Also, He doesn’t do pouty all that well. No one current I can think of, then again, I'm late with these things. ^^ Yeah, all boy-toy-y (although again, River was good at what he did. He was serious.) but…It’s Ed. He is. ^^ That’s why we love him. ♥♥♥ |
