Awesome, that's the second Urasawa anime we've got in the U.S now. There's just one more to go...

Great to see AnimEigo grabbing another title after what would be considered to be an eternity in the industry...
hopefully this will be followed soon after with other titles, or does this become a case of too little, too late I can't even remember the last time I saw this company represented at a major event... |

I'm very, very happy about this. I was afraid no one was ever going to license it at this point (How long did these negotiations last? Years and years...)
Also, yeah, it is good to know AnimeEigo still exists (I haven't heard anything new from them in...forever.)  ~♫

I don't really consider Keaton an Urasawa show since he didn't actually write the manga, even if his character designs are fairly distinctive. As for Yawara, I'm a little interested. The manga was quite funny but got old as it had a grand total of a single joke. However I've heard he does impliment some solid character development later on in the story, so I might just rent the anime to see where it goes. |

Now that is a long time coming. And I remember the petitions for this series. I guess they got around to taking it on. 'AnimEigo' does 'Urusei Yatsura' too right? I'm not sure. Cause that's a long series too.

Very nice to see Animeigo kicking again. The little contest they had over at Animeondvd.com was pretty fun, especially considering that Yawara was involved in it.
Now I shall continue to be silly and hope that they lose their minds and decide to license Rose of Versailles someday... A girl can dream, after all. |

I wonder what kind of episode count we are talking about here?
I wonder if they decided to get this because they emptied the wharehouse of Orange Road, and all of a sudden were sitting on a good chunk of cash(I would never call it a profit though). |

You're looking at 124 episodes for this series, or 31 discs at 4 eps per disc. Hopefully, they'll do 5 eps per disc, and this will get us 25 discs. |
