Just to note: The anime film is about the Yokozawa no Baai. We were all wondering if they would have an OVA, an anime series, etc... but I suppose a film will do =)

Now this is BL news to be happy about. Sure, it's another Nakamura adaptation, but anime news for BL is always a pleasure to read about. Now, only if we could get a license announcement...

I wish this series would get a physical release here in the states. At least a movie is easier on my wallet to import.

One of my favorite pairs get their own movie?! l'll take it!
Always a pleasure when another Nakamura story gets an anime adaption. I would actually love a season 3 of Junjo or Sekaiichi but that's probably not going to happen at this point. On another note, I'm going to chime in agrement about Sekaiichi getting licensed. My Junjo Romantica DVD sets are lonely by themselves on the shelves....

There has been a lot of good news on here (for me anyways) but this pretty much is at the top of this list. Very excited to see this!

Well, it's good news for the BL community, but I can't say I'm all that thrilled at this being yet another Nakamura adaptation.

Awesome to see; normally, I'd be in the "good lord ANOTHER Nakamura adaptation?", but Yokozawa's story is one of the few remotely healthy ones in her repertoire (probably because she was only tangentially involved with it) and it deserves animation and attention far more than most of the other stories in this universe.
It's always a good day for BL fans when non-problematic stories (especially ones involving domesticity and single fathers) get increased attention
Further, it being a movie means it will probably have more 'air time' than many of the other manga couples, which is great considering they're novel-only. TAKE THAT.

^ This. Yokozawa's Baai is one of my favorites from Nakamura's verse (especially since I'm kind of obsessed with single fathers in BL). I'm also really glad we finally got some news on that adaptation, I was worried it was lost in limbo. And a movie? Even if it means I'll have to wait longer to watch it I'm really excited about it because it means more of their stories have a chance of getting animated. I'm kind of slow to read the novels, so I'm glad we're getting to see them animated. I can't wait >-<
