Having visited the Tezuka Museum I highly recommend it - it features some great exhibitions and provides an experience that's both educational and fun. It's every bit as good (and in some aspects even better) than the Ghibli Museum and the Kyoto Manga Museum. Well worth the trip to Takarazuka.
The new film sounds cool, too - I hope it doesn't mean the museum has decided to abandon the charming biographic animated short it screened so far.

The museum is screening the new Garon short along with its earlier original shorts, so visitors can now watch two shorts in one trip.

I also recommend visiting the museum I have been there on many occasions. This is awesome they are getting a new movie. I do like the biographic short, but it has been the same and only one they seem to show from 2004-2008. I know they have many animated shorts they could show as well.

I've never been to the Tezuka museum. But,then I've never been to Japan before either. I'd have problems understanding anyone or anything there since I don't know Japanese. I've also never heard of "Garon" either. I'm more familiar with "Astro Boy" than this guy.

This is really cool. I never heard of this title before. But then again there are tons of Tezuka creations that I've yet to uncover. Though that might take awhile.
