Adult Swim was a subsidary of Cartoon Network which has, as of recent, broken off into it's own channel. It plays original content, some American animation and Anime. It's a primarily US channel with offshoots in the UK and Australia, at the very least.
Cant help you in regards to indian channels, as far as I know animax is the only one. |

The Anime Network is the most popular one I know of. I don't really watch anime on TV that much so I don't know of many others. But you live in India, so I guess that's not really going to help you much, is it? Sorry.
I didn't think I'd ever hear anybody ask this question but... Adult Swim. That wasn't meant to be offensive, I've just... never heard anybody ask it on an anime site before.
Only 167 episodes? Please, they should have ended it much sooner. Yes, it has 167 episodes. And if you've seen them then you'll already know that spoiler[it doesn't really even have an ending]. Not that I watched that far. I gave up around episode 40 something. @Steven: Did you actually lock that thread before or was it just locked with no comment making it look like you locked it? (this is a perfect chance for it so I'm expecting to get a sarcastic response though) |

Cartoon Network
South East Asia transmission gives 1. Transformers Cybertron 2. Bey Blade 3. Pokemon 4. One Piece and sometimes DIGImon they probably won't ever get Adult Swim but do expect More animes on the Toonami block they just recently added One piece and i am sure Naruto will follow once the episode count in AMerica gets to 52, switch Cable Operators if you do not get Cartoon Network, |

I can't lock threads. Also, the Anime Network isn't by any means popular, and is pretty much a failed venture. Not worth the effort. |

There's a column called The Click on ANN which lists current series showing on different anime channels. You might want to check it out. The only channels I've seen are Adult Swim (CN) and...I guess the 4kids block on the WB counts.

No, I had the false impression AS broke off into another channel in the states. In which case, silly me, ignore me. |

Anime also aires Tuesdays and Fridays on the Encore Action Channel, and if the show ever gets resurrected from limbo, G4's Anime Unleashed block.

Well, yes and no. Basically, they "broke apart" for AS and CN to target different audiences, and ad revenues. In reality, they're the same physical channel, and share the same station number (296 on direct TV). I guess you could call it legally fudging the numbers. As far as recomendations go, I'd have to agree with Fui - ANN's own The Click is a great resource to find what's on TV in the US and Canada. Anime on TV is another good place to check, and offers a larger selection of search options. |
