Animethon 2025 Announces First Wave of MusicFes Guests: May'n, JUNNA, and Vocaparty

[Edmonton, Feb 25, 2025] – Animethon 2025 is excited to announce the first wave of guests for the Animethon MusicFes, happening August 8-10, 2025, at the Edmonton Convention Centre. The first wave of the lineup includes anisong star May'n, the vocal powerhouse JUNNA, and Vocaparty - a Vocaloid hologram concert. The MusicFes will feature concerts on all three days of the convention.

May'n, widely known for her role as the singing voice of Sheryl Nome in Macross Frontier, has captivated audiences worldwide with her powerful vocals and dynamic performances. With a career spanning over a decade, she has performed countless hit anime songs, including themes from Accel World, Aria the Scarlet Ammo, and Aquarion Evol.

JUNNA, best known as the singing voice of Mikumo Guynemer from Macross Delta, has quickly risen as one of the most exciting voices in the anisong industry. Despite her young age, her commanding stage presence and versatile vocal range have earned her widespread acclaim. JUNNA has also performed theme songs for popular anime such as The Ancient Magus' Bride and Muv-Luv Alternative.

Vocaparty at Animethon is making a grand return, bringing the magic of Vocaloid and virtual performances back to the stage! Homebrewed right here in Edmonton with incredible local talent, we're bringing the magic of Vocaloid and virtual performances to life. Since our last successful show in 2018, we've been preparing something special—this year, experience a stunning holo 3D screen concert on Sunday as part of Animethon's Music FES lineup.
