I remember this series, it was pretty good if I recall correctly. Wonder if there'll be any way to watch it when it airs?

I will have to try and check this out! I really enjoyed the anime and have enjoyed what I've read of the manga as well.
Also, they totally nailed Kinnosuke's ridiculous hair.

I can't wait for this~ I love this manga.
I've been hoping Japan would make a new drama version. I really liked the first drama from '96 (Naoki was perfectly cast, Kotoko- not so much) and the Korean version is cute too. However, the Taiwan drama is the best of them all in the way it totally sticks to the manga
I hope that with a good 16 episodes (which is long for a jdrama! Are they only 30 mins or what?) this new version will be faithful to the source.

Honoka Miki also appeared in Kamen Rider OOO as Mezool's human form. Can't believe that this show has GokaiBlue and loli Mezool!

That reminds me, need to watch the K-drama version of it. I wish Dramafever or Crunchyroll could pick up the Taiwanese drama, and the J-drama of that show. I want to watch it. Also I would like other countries outside of Asia to adapt Itazura na Kiss into live-action like Brazil, Mexico could adapt itazura na Kiss into Spanish telenovelas. I would like US to adapt this show into a teen drama like on the same level as The OC, Dawson's Creek.

this reminds me I need to finish the k-drama. It's unfortunate the actors they chose for the k-drama are more attractive that who they've cast for the j-drama, though that was the case when it came to the differences between the k-drama and the j-drama in hana yori dango too. Oh well...

It's not often that the story moves well past high school. Must be an old-skool thang. This is totally be adaptable to other countries.

Yeah, and a lot of people are wanting Japan to export more J-drama to US citing K-drama popularity and how it allowed other dramas from Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore to get stream. Not only that, fans of Super Sentai and Kamen Rider has now been using the K-drama popularity card to show that if people can watch K-drama and other Asian drama, then why can't Super Sentai and Kamen Rider be stream using Dramafever and Crunchyroll.
