You know this is only because Gatsu pointed out this Advent Children review last night.

Mr. Kojima, I love Metal Gear and all, but I can't thank you enough for sticking to games.

Well, for whatever reason it's on the front page, I just hope he doesn't make it like MGS 2... just what in the blue **** was that game about?

Why do we need a movie? The games themselves are like interactive movies.

But maybe if Kojima himself is involved somehow with the movie, then it could be good.

MGS2's story was beautiful, as was MGS1's, I just hope the story isn't anything like MGS3's...what a disappointment that was...
So, will it be Hayter's long suggested animated version, or a live-action version with a long-speculated lead...

MGS3's story was the best. I don't see how anyone could think it wasn't.

Oh, please, MGS 2's plot went way out of hand at the end; I agree with Leo, we don't need a live-action movie since his games are like movies (sometimes you have 20 minutes of nothing but dialog in those games, sheesh...) Shocked

J: It's not official. It's more like a rumour, until some names get attached to it. Raiden will be probably be played by Gold Dust.
Also, in spite of the review, MGS3 was more emo than Advent Children. Cloud's just down, but Snake keeps sulking through most of the game.

Walkabout: MGS3 is great if you don't mind frequent loading times and soldiers who have better A.I. than bosses.

(Kojima) Forcing the player to wait an hour to knock a guard out with tranquilizers is too easy. I know! How about their compatriots wake them up, so you have to do the entire process all over again?! Reviewers will ignore the tedium and hype it as strategy. Oh, and not only will you be obligated to wear camouflage to avoid being undetected, I'll make it so you have to change into a new suit on every other square inch of land you crawl across. Who cares if people have to wait 5 minutes, because the PS2 is only slightly faster than the PS1? I'm a genius, damnit.

I never understand these coversation-like post Gatsu frequently posts up. Can you explain to me whats going on please?

A Metal Gear movie... I agree that the games themselves are movies, but if this rumor is true, why not? Everyone has been cashing in on crappy out-dated media such as comic books and old TV series, so why not a good game? If they "ruin it", we still have the games with a "part 4", excluding the original NES games, on the way.

As to which game is better, not point discussing since people on the internet are really biased and don't care about the other person's opinion since "they are always right".

Isn't the whole story screw up of part two that Raiden was just being put through a series of events that Snake whent through, Shadow Moses, so another Solid Snake Laughing could be created?

Ok, I think if they made a live action MGS movie, I would hope the Hideo made a story JUST FOR the movie.

Oh, and honestly, I think only David Hayter has the right to ever play the character of Solid Snake. He's a good actor, and I say that having seen Guyver 2: Dark Hero.

I honestly think David Hayter could pull of Solid Snake's role easily, he's already got the voice down perfectly, anyways. He would just need to work on the look.

As for the games, I am not gonna complain too much. Solid was just that, a solid game. Two was confusing as hell, we all know that. Three was less confusing as two. Four, well, thats just going to rock ass. No matter how much people complain, they will still buy it and play it. So will I.

Apparently that was only something the patriots told Ocelot..
I can't remember who said it. Probably the "cambell" patriot. I pretty much fell out of my chair at that point, and had to go get my self some aspirin. Those last parts of MGS2 make my head go to the Bluescreen of Death..

2 things. I hope it either penned by Kojima himself or another another has to write the script with Kojima's blood. Actually, that what I would say, but since he calls all the shots to all that is MGS, so I'm sure it'll be pretty cool if not decent. I don't care if it's going to be a new Metal Gear story (chances are it will be) or based on a game, either way, Uwe Boll isn't going to do it, so I can be thankful for that.

Not as bad as Raiden though. Big... Er, Snake wasn't being lied to that much like the Solid Snake and Raiden in the past two games.

Well, out of all video games, I NEVER wanted to see a Metal Gear Solid movie because, like most, I agreed that the games were similar to watching a movie but i'm sure the movie won't be disappointing at all.

Thats what we all hope. Reality has shown us that this isn't always the case. Super Mario Brothers anybody?

Oh and hasn't a Splinter Cell movie been created yet? Or been announced? My friend won't shut the hell up about it. Personally, I hate Splinter Cell. So I'll be glad if they bring a game I actually care about to the big screen. If rumor is true, I can't wait to see what Metal Gear will look like. All of them have been amazing so far, but my favorite was the Metal Gear for MGS3... I have a thing for giant robots. They are the reason I even began to watch anime.

The movie will probably be Based on Ghost Babble. Not the other mainstream MGS games. It would make sense since It has a competent female teamed up with Solid Snake. Ohh and personally I thought that Raiden was a cool character, I mean he was nick named "Jack the ripper" when he was a child plus he has a dark backstory. I never understood why poeple hated him.
