NEWS: Hayate the Combat Butler Gets New TV Anime Series

[Isn't that what one does in a forum about anime? Are you also aware that this season's big pull is that the mangaka has been allowed to write the screenplay for it, and that he hasn't added it to the manga continuity, yet, if ever? spoiler[He's even added a new character to the mix. ] Japanese critics know of no other production where this has happened. It's the only note worthy part of the whole franchise for me, but still not enough to make me want to watch more of it.

The point is that there are legions of reasons why Hayate_p is pretty terrible, and you choose to pick on one of the plotpoints where things actually make perfectly logical sense.

YOU WERE WRONG. There was no plothole, nothing in that scene was particularly unusual, the show just didn't give you all the information yet, which is a perfectly valid storytelling technique.

You decided to spout off about something you didn't have knowledge about, and I called you on it.

They didn't.

Then you are seeing different version than others.

Why you are bringing "second" here? It is the third season that relaunched the franchise with unrelated anime studio, character designs, and story that has barely anything to do with the manga. And yes, with no A-tan and narrator.

So I am asking again: what was the reason for all of this? Were there interviews where the publisher or whoever responsible would explain why they thought to it was great thing to do those changes?

Fencedude is right about the desert scene. it makes perfect sense once the story gets back around to it

Not as far as I know, but you also seem a little unsure on precisely what happened. The entirety of season 3 takes place well after where the manga is even now, and at several points refers to events that occurred in the manga and were not depicted in either previous season.

I'll take your word for it as I've only seen screen shots shown during that interview I mentioned earlier. I don't watch any fansubs.
