I also enjoyed Suzuka a lot. After that one I saw Peach Girl, which I think was even better than Suzuka. Give it a try, it is really good.
Another good one is Ajimu Kaigan Monogatari. It is short (4 episodes) but it is good. I just started watching it.

Just have to say that I'm really enjoying this forum. It has given me lots of ideas of what to buy or not.
I think that this is going to make me even more addicted.
I think that I'll try Air & Suzuka when they arrive here.
Thanks.

I finished watching Ajimu Kaigan Monogatari and I can´t really recommend it. It is definately not in the same level as Suzuka or Peach Girl.
It is extremely cheesy and predictable, and the romance aspect is very shallow and not believable.
Sorry for recommending it without watching it completely
Too bad, it had a good start.

Peach Girl, huh? I'll keep that in mind, I have about 4 episodes of Suzuka left, but if I could use something similar to fill the void once I'm done.

Yeah, that's the one. Even though there are some comic relief scenes you can't say it is a romantic comedy like Peach Girl or Suzuka. It is more like a romantic drama and it is also one of the best animes I've ever seen.

I'm not sure if Suzuka can be characterized as a romantic comedy. Early on there are some episodes with plenty of comedy, but the drama is still in the fore front. The comedic element is later reduced to an occassional joke.
As for Peach Girl, I only watched four episodes before taking a pause. Seemed ok, although there were times when the protagonist's behavior made me cringe in embarrassment. However, as with Suzuka I've heard that the series improves after a shaky beginning.

The song that Nana sings at the karaoke in episode 17 is pretty good. Does anyone know if that is a real song and if so, the title of it?

That's also the problem with this forum, it gives too many ideas on what to buy
As for Air, don't count on it coming over here any time soon--high licensing cost + weird story + niche market flavor = not attractive for R1 companies.
The Suzuka manga, at least, will be released starting in August, and who knows, maybe Bandai will pick up the anime sometime--it's similar enough to Love Hina and the Onegai series that it might be appealing to their marketing tastes.
As for the original post, I don't know...this same post by the same person has come up so many times, I don't know what's been recommended. You could try His & Her Circumstances (AKA Kare Kano), which is a rather strange romance/drama/comedy series done by the same studio that did Evangelion and FLCL. It's a pretty good/serious high school love story, though the ending will leave you wanting much more.
(Then again, maybe TRSI might pick up Suzuka someday, though I'd prefer to see them get started on To Heart first.)

It's a real song called My Love. It's the fourth song on the second Suzuka soundtrack. Every song heard in the show can be found on the OSTs (together with a few extra vocal tracks).

Yeah, you might want to try out To Heart. I think To Heart 2 is also out if i'm not mistaken.
