Sorry, everybody, but due to Thanksgiving the Thursday specials have been canceled this week.
 But that's okay, because we have Wednesday specials instead!  I've spent all day trawling our stock to put together deals that complement our far-too-extensive holiday sale, so if your order seems to be missing a little something, make sure to give the specials a look.
Way back when I was just a young minion learning the ropes, The Dark Lord took me aside and said "Minion, listen carefully. Whatever you do, make sure you don't put the entire store on sale." And so I have tried to live my life by his wise and thoughtful words. Looking over the next month, however, this is clearly a case of "do as I say, not as I do." In retaliation for his deceit, I have put every Sentai pre-order I could find in the specials, but if the war escalates next week I'm not sure how long I can compete in this deals arms race. Say, have you ever looked at your dog and thought to yourself you'd really rather have a penguin? There's a hat for that! New Search Rich and the web team (mostly the web team, he wants you to know - we've got some talented guys putting a lot of effort into this ) are working on a new search using facets. Give it a try and either leave feedback in this thread or drop us an email (or give us a call, or send in a fax, or whatever it is you kids do these days - twitter? facebook? carrier pigeon?).
Exciting new feature: along with grid and list views, you can also select list-but-with-no-pictures view now! (Or, as it is called by the web team, "text view.") And as a bonus just for me (really, they implemented this one after I asked, so very big thanks to the crew), if you click the text view button again, you get the item numbers! If you're a power user who's got the companies' product codes memorized (a.k.a., me), this is awesome.
Updated Great Eastern and Merchandise Policy In an effort to better service our customers, we're doing our best to work with merchandise vendors to get better information about stock levels and availability of various merchandise items. Pokemon manga boxset contest? Now that's what I'm talking about! I never win ever though....ever....
So, the T-waves, just to make sure, that's not the Black Friday sale, right? So there will be even more stuff spontaneously jumping into our carts on Friday? Also, do orders still get held up for pre-orders? Just remembering that I pre-ordered two manga during the Yen sale, one comes out Dec 11, the other Jan 22. Of course, it's still held up on one last book coming in, that I don't mind (odds are it'll come in Friday at this rate). But then I remember that the Madoka pre-orders were to be held all together if ordered together, or was that just a special case? |
