For those of you who read my previous thread about hentai anime, you will probably have a good idea what this thread is about as well.
In numerous erotic anime series (a.k.a. "hentai" anime), we see both hideous tentacled beasts and women with certain male body parts. The most well-known example of such anime is La Blue Girl, which I have seen, and do not wish to see again. This disturbs me to no end. I am wondering why people would draw such things. As far as I am concerned, such people must have mental problems if they find tentacles and hermaphrodites appealing. What does everyone else think? |

True...but most fiction of any sort is based on truth. There are people that like it weird like that in real life. I'm sure you could find many more disturbing things than some of the weirdest hentai, and you wouldn't have to travel far from your house.

People make weird hentai to satisfy wierd fetishes. any can be turned on be anything. Feet, S&M, bondage, all of those things. the hentai with tentacles (La Blue Girl) must have something to do with someone's fetish for it. if they made a hentai to satisfy someone with hitler's fetish, it would be someone being verbally and physically abused (i think that was hitler's). if you want disturbing without looking at hentai, try looking up "crush flicks". be warned however, the results may shatter your fragile mind. btw, a crush flick is not my fetish, i just know about them.

Yeah, as mentioned some people just like it weird. And really, most hentai is much more tame in the disturbing department than many unorthodox sexual practices in the real world. "Bestiality," comes to mind. (and no, I'm not talking about the word meaning general lustfulness.)
As for the tentacles thing, actually, I believe it started because censorship laws in Japan prevent you from depicting male gentalia (or something like that). So the animators found a rather, erm, unique method to showing the penetration without the genitalia. >_> |

What I find more disturbing is the grown ass otaku men gawking over picture and anime involving cute little innocent girls.
But seriously, hentai are just like anime. Find one that suit your taste. Obviously there are viewer that do prefer tenicle and other saddist fetish that can only be done in animation. Mental problems? Who's to say really. |

Now i might be into the ropes and chains thing myself. However the person that did that show seriously needs some help as I feel that he's nothing more than a sexual predator which as no idea of the was Bondage is about. I saw about 15 - 20 minutes of that, and after having run to the bathroom to throw up, I have not even scene another H film since. |

I could at least tolerate the S & M bondage thing, but what I can't understand is the 8-10 year old girl (or in some cases boy) who apparently is developed/aware sexually enough to have sex with people in high school/college whatever, but act all innocent like they don't know about it. I thought it was a nice touch to spoiler[portray a 9-year old girl as the Grim Reaper in] Wet Summer Days, spoiler[but not so to have her "romantically involved" with an 18 year-old guy. Not cool]. BTW, the girl in the far left in the link pic is her. Once again, holy schnikes.

"such people must have mental problems"? Who says rape in hentai is correct? Or hentai in general? Or just taped sex? What about whores? Is masturbation only for insane people? Meh, we already have enough rules for all of this, which is the law. It's not necessairy for you or any of us to decide for other people what's smart/sane/whatever. This also directly sums up my thoughts on the subject. I don't really care if people are attracted to men/drawings/dogs/whatever, it's really none of my buisness. |

The most disturbing title to me that I've ever seen would be Night Shift Nurses. The only reason I watched all three of the OVAs all the way through was to see the SOB main character get exactly what was comming to him for all the horrible things he did to the women. No other piece of fiction has ever left me feeling so hollow and full of rage which is probabally what shocked me the most.  
I don't go for any of that nonconsentual stuff like rape or blackmail and bondage, tenticles or kidy porn either. I just find it disturbing that there's so much of it in hentai it must be popular. Anyway, all that really can be done is try to avoid it and find something decent. I'm not much of a fan of hentai but I do own some titles and try to do my research carefully before watching one.

Yeah, there is some scary ass crap out there for hentai. When it comes to viewing the stuff online, I mostly just check out ecchi and yuri. And I own no H movies. I would like to check out Lady Innocent. I like Satoshi Urushihara artwork.

Actually most bondage is not rape in the first place. It's just that hentai (whether it's anime or manga) really seem blow it out of propersion to make it look like it's nonconsentual. |

True which is why my intention was to add it as an addendum with kiddy porn and tentacles as other things I'm not into, rather than with the non-consentual stuff. I can see how it's easy to misread though, sorry. |
