I ordered Vol. 2 for a friend's birthday present back in November from Overstock.com. At the time, the entry said it would ship in November 2005. A few days later, it changed to December 2005. And now, it's not even in their database when you try to search for it, yet my order status says "in process." It is now January 11, 2006. Was there a problem with the release, or did they just delay it some more?

Well, DrMaster has had some financial troubles in the past, so I wouldn't be suprised if they delayed it without an announcement. Amazon is listing is as a "ship in three weeks" product, which usually means they're supposed to have it but don't.

Well, I sent an e-mail to Overstock. We'll see how it turns out within the next week. Do they charge your card before or after they send the item? Depending on that, I might even cancel it and order from somewhere else at this point...

I just got a reply this morning. They didn't give me a full explanation as to why they never sent it, but they did apologize for the inconvenience and apply a $6.94 credit under my account for the next time I purchase something. Weird, I wonder what happened to the product?

Yeah, don't buy from overstock. I've heard some negative things as well, and generally amazon has a much larger selection of manga/comics including lots of hard to find stuff.

Eh, I wouldn't use overstock either for manga purchase, especially since they charge your card before the product is shipped.

I usually don't buy manga from them, but it was the lowest price I found it for, at the time. I buy DVDs from them a lot and have never had a problem with that, but oh well. I will stick with B&N and TRSI for my manga from now on
![]() By the way, here's the explanation they sent me:
I guess I can use that store credit towards those Yukizake LE and Initial D box set now ![]() |

I have my vol. 2 pre-ordered from amazon. Right now it says my delivery estimate is Feb. 10th. I certainly hope they're right about it. I've been dying to read vol. 2.
