I wonder if the East Coast will get a screening. Better finish up the series just incase it happens.

I was planning on going to this, but I read that they will just be remakes of the series with no new content. Does anyone know if this is true or not?

That's true, the first two movies are just recaps.

Are they "just" recaps, or are they recaps with additional footage? Do you actually know?

The trailers have show some definitely reanimated portions and at least one shot that is new.

Sorry, I guess I did jump the gun on that. I completely glazed over the "with no new content" part of Guren Alchemist4's post.

Thanks for the replies. I guess it will be worth going. They just added an extra showing in San Francisco if anyone missed out on the first round of ticket sales.....for anyone living in the area.

Probably because Sentai and Funimation are based in Houston and the local Alamo Drafthouse has a history of showing anime? Besides, it's only a four hour drive.

That said, Houston tickets are on sale! I've already boughten mine, blackout months be damned. I'll just say I can't make it in(at least without being very late) and leave off the fact that it's because I went to Houston to see a movie.

They listed New York: Big Cinema Manhattan to be showing it but the site has yet to list the movie so that those of us that are close to NY can get tickets for it. Does anybody know who I can get in contact with to find out what is taking them so long to list it? I have already tried calling and emailing Big Cinema about it but all I got was an answering machine and no replies from either method.
