Things I've learned from buying the wii and the 3ds at release day: Wait about a year to buy the Wii-U.

Here's the harsh reality about Killer Instinct: You either know the combos and combo breakers or you don't. If it's the latter, you really have no business playing the game.

I think I'll wait for the Wii U also. Feel like its 50 bucks a little too much. A year should give a good amount of what games coming up that should interest me.

Gonna third the wait on Wii U. You know how these things go.
Marvel Super Heroes was fun back in the day because it wasn't nearly as tier focused. That said, Spider Man's ending in that game was ruined by One More Day (as were many things). No Pirate Warriors for Xbox Live? Well damn. I was interested. |

Killer Instinct: Probably one of the most dated fighters of its generation; there's really no reason to revisit it.
SMTIV: GIVES! Wii U: The lineup through spring looks pretty good; sure, there are quite a few ports but a lot of them I wonder about how they're going to utilize the gamepad. The thing is sold out across the world so it's a big sign of success. Also, this to people whining about Bayonetta 2: GROW UP. And it's not going to be ported to the 360 and PS3. |

PS3 exclusive in Japan too. Thankfully, I picked up a PS3 recently. (Mainly for SRW OG2nd and the copy of Another Century's Episode R I got awhile ago.) What I'm curious about Wii U is whether or not region free. I'm not holding my breath for it to be region free at all. |

Just to nitpick, Todd, but...
2012 - 20 = 1992. The SNES did not kick off a new generation of home consoles, unless you're trying to troll fans of the Sega Genesis & TurboGrafx-16, both of which predated the SNES & were considered "next gen" at the time (well, you could agrue against the TG-16 in some aspects). Most people would argue that the Genesis kicked off the 16-bit generation, to be honest. Now if you said something closer to thirty years, then you'd be a little more correct, since the original NES did predate the Sega Master System... Though in Japan the Famicom did debut the same exact day as Sega's first home console, the SG-1000. So, if you want to be really technical, the Wii U is the very first time Nintendo has been undoubtedly the starter of a new generation of home consoles. But, again, I'm simply nitpicking for the fun of it. |

Wonderful 101 is the only thing that actually interests me. ZombiU looks potentially interesting but I'm inclined to regard anything in the tired zombie genre with skepticism at least initially. (Of course, this is all pretty moot since I'm not getting a Wii U anyway).
Sorry dude. You gotta deal with it. |

Can't say anything on WiiU interests me, though I've given up on pretty much anything Nintendo at this point. I have no interest in all of their gimmicks, and I just want a true gaming experience with traditional controls. My genre of choice, RPGs, don't work with these gimmick controls so I'll never find many games that interest me now on Nintendo systems.

Well, the only thing what I'm getting from the article is DoA 5 (CE) and MVC: Origins, everything else in the article is just meh, nothing much to write home about...

Nothing really interests me about the WiiU to get it at launch either so I didn't pre-order it, but I feel like I still might end up with it at the end of the day.
