I hope either FUNimation or Sentai will pick this up, along with the first two seasons of Geass once Bandai closes. I really liked the English dub that the TV series got, and I'd much rather not pay 80 bucks for a single episode that only has subtitles.

No, Funi needs to stay far away from Code Geass.

Nowhere near the release date of the Japanese, of course. Maybe in 2014.

Subs suck... Dubs ftw! .. but yes blu-ray would be good. as for this series if it comes out in dubs and if its cheap-ish ill buy it, atm im not a fan of Akito... let me guess the ending they lose ?? because we all know how CG really turned out. All hail the mightest of mightest Lelouch.... which reminds me i was going to watch it agian , for the 3rd time this year Anime hyper

Why do people care if Funimation dubs it? Unless they pull a Persona 4, it will have subs in disc. Not to mention it will be at a reasonable price. unlike with Aniplex.

I'd be happy if any distributor other than Aniplex gets the license.

I wonder if Bandai will bother licensing this out at all. Why not just market to the west and charge the same price as the Japanese pay? "Just add subs" and you'll get sales for something as high profile as this. Gundam Unicorn did go the extra step with the dub, and I'd have liked to see that here too.

Don't think we'll be seeing this stateside, seeing as Bandai is effectively cockblocking everything from Sunrise.
