There is no need to put "-san" after my user name, it sounds kind of strange. If you must add one it is either "-sama" or "-dono". |

I've studied English for about 8 years but I only practiced reading (spoke once - yes only once in my entire life- in my final exams for the language certificate and that was also the last time ever written something in English) so I'll be making a lot of mistakes. (Not really fun person. I hope it will get better...) Favorite Quotes: "The force is strong with him" I think that's enough for now. Nice to meet you everyone |

Well, there should probably be a comma before, "but." That's about it; it's a grammatical and natural sounding sentence otherwise. Welcome; I think you'll find that the ANN fora host a pretty amiable crowd, by and by. Last edited by Surrender Artist on Mon Aug 20, 2012 4:05 pm; edited 1 time in total |

Thank you. I love anime [and Japanese culture]. I was introduced to it by my boyfriend who showed me Bubblegum Crisis [the original OVA]. After that I couldn't get enough.

While I like anime, I do not like Japanese culture; I do, however, find it quite interesting. I hope that you understand the distinction!

Just treat my posts like incidental vocabulary lessons... it's what everybody else has to do anyway. Laconism is beyond me for some reason.
Have you ever gotten around to the rest of the Bubblegum Crisis canon? I think that at least A.D. Police Files is worth seeing. (I consider everything but Bubblegum Crash at least watchable, including the later A.D. Police television series)
"Fora," you say? My evil is spreading. Excellent! Mwahahahahahaha! Today, Latinate plurals. Tomorrow, the subjunctive voice! |

Every time I view your posts on the fora, I open up Dictionary.com to record a new lesson. It has taught me much more than what public education offered. I thank you, Professor S.A., but I've still much more to absorb. Today's note(s): Laconism: noun 1. laconic brevity. 2. a laconic utterance or sentence. Laconic: adjective using few words; expressing much in few words; concise |
