how do movie theaters in japan work

i'm going to japan to see the 10th detective conan movie but it says roadshow what does that mean and does japanese theaters work like american one's where the movie goes to evrey theater?

Well, In Japan, especially tokyo, you will see places filled with movie theaters and it is basically like the movie theater in US except it's bigger, cleaner and louder. However, the movie tickets costs more. Trust me. It costs 18 bucks to see just one movie.
I'm not sure what you are talking about roadshows though. Have fun in Japan... Very Happy
