well, may not be too off topic, but I looked at Excel Saga for the first time on the anime encyclopedia a couple of hours ago. And not too long after that I went to dvorak.org and found the Excel Saga cover case. Awsome link: http://www.dvorak.org/blog/?p=3524

Thats cool I personally have only seen the first episode of Excell Saga, and at the time it seemed very weird. A girl kept dying and a random hand floating in a black void would come and bring her back to life. I do want to see it all the way through though.

Okay I'm lost and this is bugging me. I don't buy stuff off Ebay so I don't know what is meant by "Vulnerability" and what Excel has to do with it. Are they referring to "Excel Saga" as "Excel"? Or since they keep mentioning Microsoft do they mean "Microsoft Excel"?
What I think I understood is that this person is mocking the Microsoft Excel program by using the anime as a clever _____, I wanna say pun. The word "vulnerability" throws me off though. |

A vulnerability is a flaw in a program that can be used by hackers to attack a computer with that program installed on it - this attack would be called an "exploit", and it's the details of that which were being offered in the auction. There have been rumours for a long time that Microsoft Excel had a vulnerability, and Microsoft is now saying they're investigating. The whole story could well be described as a saga, hence the visual pun.
