This is... odd. I guess I can't be too surprised since many US anime Blu-Ray discs disable the ability to switch back and forth at will, and to remove the English subtitles while watching the show in Japanese.

This is obviously the Japanese company's doing. I can't imagine Sentai wanting this to happen (especially since their DVD is unaffected). Reverse-importation, reverse importation...

Wow. So now only is it 15-20 dollars more expensive than really should be like all their blurays, but not it doesn't even contain all the content. There goes one sale. I dont understand why there would be a difference between the dvd and bluray. I'm not blaming Sentai since it's apparently the Japanese company's fault but that's still bizarre...normally the only difference with bluray is the video quality..not audio

Oh ffs. More Japanese reverse importation paranoia horseshit. I really wish NA didn't share the same effin' BD region code.

it surprising, but at the same time not very surprising, you don't expect to hear it, but at the same time your not surpised when you do hear it

i'm going to assume there wasn't any option to delay the release to keep the Japanese audio, it would surprise me that they wouldn't want to keep the audio in favour of a slight delay to release

Well whatever, at least it will have the game's cast. Nothing really lost for me.

Yeah, how about no. One very very very very small thing dosen't hurt the positives of this region coding. Get real.

Well, same happened with Persona 4 Arena as it's the only PS3 game that is region locked... Nothing new.

Okay, what the f*ck is THIS bullshit?

The Japanese track cannot be "omitted". It is mandatory, dammit! This is a disgrace.

Meh, only can play DVDs so this doesn't impact me in any way. Doesn't really come as a surprise, honestly.

Anime companies them selves are the biggest threat to the anime industry.

Someone's going to blame Sentai for this anyway. Maybe this thread will slowly descend into another dub vs. sub debate abyss.

Let me just say that I really envy France and Germany for not having to deal with all of this (and for having delicious releases in general). At least I have no interest in this show.

The game itself had the Japanese track omitted, and people still bought that...
