Usage of the word @#$% in anime

It would surprise me, every language has its own swear words. For example, if I'd say fudge in dutch, the equivalent word would actually be "Klote", "sack of balls" in translation. If the Japanese would literally say fudge, they'd use the english word for sure.

Not to mention, fudge is such a weird swear word, I don't really get why people use it, it means literally nothing, and is barely offensive.

It's also kind of like saying crap to replace s***.

Because the word is close to the word F***. It's also a type of food so it's not really a swear(in America). It's just being said to get stress off without getting in trouble of using the actual word f***,when you're at a young age and in front of adults. It's also kind of like saying crap to replace s***.

I was actually talking about "fu*k", but the filtering system of this board kept replacing it with "fudge".

What I was saying, is that I don't understand why people say "Fu*k". Have you ever heard anyone say "Intercourse you!!!"? It sounds as silly as it is.

I'm sure you can think of many more examples.

With all of these multi purpose applications why can anyone be offended by its use? Use this word more often. It will identify the quality of your character immediately. No word can quite capture the severity of any given situation as the word fudge". Say it loudly! Say it proudly! fudge You!

Anime fans don't watch anime for swearing, sex and violence after all (Its part of the reason but not the whole reason. lol.)
