Wasted effort. What is really needed is a MMO that allows unfettered access to all known Pokemon regions.

It could be worse. The positive side to this is that it will help to boost interest in Nobunga's Ambition. However I really dislike how NoA is handling this. They're calling the game "inspired" by Nobunga's Ambition rather than stating that it is actually a crossover. Also, I can't stand the English title of the game. So after hearing no word about it for awhile, part of me had hoped that NoA had dropped the game, but I looks like they obviously didn't. |

You know, the English logo for "Pokemon" is really.. bad. It looks really bright, cartoony and kiddy and has that cheesy 90s feel to it. They really need to update it, because it look really out of place to slap that on a war game. Especially when you look at how sleek the Japanese logo is. Japan updates the Pocket Monsters logo each generation so they don't really have a standard logo to over-use.
I guess Nobunaga's Ambition fans can go rot for all NoA cares. It's a shame since it's an established franchise. It'd be like if they ever remake the Super Sentai x Kamen Rider movie, they'd just call it "Power Rangers Mega Battle " with no mention of the few "Masked Riders" shows they made. Or maybe they didn't want a Japanese name in the title. Who knows. |
