Final thoughts on Tsukuyomi ~ Moon Phase?

I finally have seen all of Tsukuyomi ~ Moon Phase. YAY!

As for episode 24, it wasn't as bad as episode as episode 12 since the animation was REALLY good in the first half. Then it fell apart in the second half with the same problems as episode 12. Overall it wasn't as annoying, and it's going to be fixed in the DVD versions anyways.

Now the last episode spoiler[is an epilouge episode with lots of comedic moments. Also most of the loose ends of the plot has been tied up pretty well along with Art living with the Hazuki and the gang. And did I mention they got themeselves a new house.]


This is such a cute and fun show, and I love how they mix the light-hearted moments with the dark, creepy moments. Definetely worth buying the DVDs once it gets licensed here since the visuals is chock full of eye-candy! And this series has officially became my second favorite series I've seen.

I'm seriously going to miss this series. Crying or Very sad

The opening was indeed the BEST part! Razz

Though I really loved the second ending sequence also since it's really Soul Taker/Petite Cossette-esque (in other words very, very pretty). I'm sort of banking on that Geneon getting it since they did mention it in the Petite Cossette trailer. Rolling Eyes

I... actually didn't like the opening. I couldn't help but think "I guess the voice actor can't sing so they made it really easy for her." I much preferred the more depressing sounding opening that only appeared once (to my disappointment). I did like the ending theme though.

Overall I really enjoyed the series and would recommend it to anyone that can get around the loli fan service. It was a lot of fun, but it doesn't feel finished, does the manga go further than this or does it end about the same way?

It was an okay series, humorous, and with enough plot to pass the time. The opening was hillarious also. I wouldn't buy it though.

Hilarious series, but not all that much more than that. Still I enjoyed it well enough to put a Very Good rating on "My Anime". The opening was weird enough to slap myself on the forhead for Laughing.

Are you talking about that song, "Tsukuyomi Mode"? That song appeared twice.

Either I'm getting desensitised or I blinked and missed it. OK, the title sequence had some nudity, but most of that was removed after the first few episodes. Seeing that one of the major plotlines was spoiler[Hazuki and Kohei falling in love], I thought it was very restrained.
