Darkness is far superior to the original manga anyways. With the kiddie gloves off the author has not only been able to ramp up the fanservice, but also ironically, move along a legitimate plot far better than when he was in Weekly Jump.

ya it seems like it goes back and forth between its going to be a anime series or its gonna be a ova xD, guess we just gotta wait for for the company to say what its gonna be officially or wait for one of the future anime lists. But since they say its going to be run on TV it probably will be a anime series, I am not sure if they play OVA's on TV I think those are usually sold with manga volumes or DVD's.

It more than likely is confirmed for real now. They were most likely gauging the fanbased and monkeying with what was the best route in terms of financial and fan appeal.

I don't think there was any uncertainty that it wouldn't become an anime, seeing as the sales for Darkness are leaps better than even the original TLR:Trouble. Probably just that the details weren't yet hammered out and signed off on, so they couldn't confirm anything.

Very interesting. Never read the manga, but can't escape seeing reference to some crazy pics from it on some websites. Pretty wild stuff for a TV show I'm thinking.

Or so much steam that the producers must tap into the supply of the steam generated by an idle nuclear reactor. Maybe entire episodes will just be a white screen with a message down the bottom saying, "Buy The Blu-Ray! Out XX/XX/20XX."
