well....that was really fast still i enjoyed chaos head and i loved steins gate so i'll likely see this.

I hope Funimation picks it up after it airs...
Nonetheless, I loved Chaos;Head (the VN). So this should be awesome. |

I'm impressed by this news. The game has yet to even be released, and there's already an anime adaptation in the works.
I hope 5pb has a controlling hand in the anime. I haven't seen the Chaos;Head anime but haven't heard much good about it (while I loved the S;G adaptation). Creating an anime series about a game that's yet to be released could be great, but it could also be very bad. Here's hoping for the former. |

I believe they should've learned from S;G. the story for R:N is on the same world line from S;G true end. I'm wary of this. The only two 5pb adaptations I'm aware of are Steins;Gate and Chaos;Head. C;H was craptacularly horrendous while S;G was stupendously great. There's a 50/50 chance of R;N being rancid or nice. I need to see names and studios involved to ease my worries.

Its because Steins;Gate and Chaos;Head were developed by different studios. I really hope White Fox studios make Robotics because they have PROVEN that they can adapt VN well like Kyoto animation. So far Kyoto animation and White Fox are the 2 studios I know that can adapt VN studios well. |

Ironically, Hamasaki took a lot of Madhouse staff with him to White Fox to make Steins;Gate. |

The article keeps calling it a PC game, but everything I can find says it will be released on the XBOX 360 and on the PS3, and doesn't mention PCs.

I approve. Set 10 years after Chaos;Head and 9 years after Steins;Gate. Albeit not in Akihabara this time, I look forward to what the staff will be like. Steins;Gate had a Noitamina feel to it so I hope they succeed with this now that it's in this block.

Wow that was fast.
Guess it makes sense given that in an interview from a few months ago with Chiyomaru Shikura said he wanted R;N to be the type of series people who don't read VNs would read and get in to. Wonder how this is going to turn out though. It's been stated if it ever got an anime it'd need at least 40 eps to tell the whole story in detail. Which means it's going to need to be at least 24 eps like S;G was. |
