TK - I'm not sure that doing the storyboards for Mashin Eiyuden Wataru 2 can be considered a "big work."

Should be interesting. It's not a sci-fi western or a hip-hopping samurai period piece. Oh, no. It's a coming-of-age, slice-of-life drama that centers around jazz music. Oh, yeah!

It doesn't seem like the kind of thing to live up to CB, but I'm looking forward to it, nevertheless. If anything, at least it'll get an awesome soundtrack.

Glad to hear this now! =D Just another anime to add to the list next season. Doesnt look as good as Cowbe or Samurai Shamploo, but hey, it can't be all that bad. Looking forward to it. |

Why all the haters? It's not like any episodes have aired yet to really make a final judgment; it looks like more of the same stuff Watanabe is known for, but I'm not complaining.
Definitely interesting to see him revisit Jazz though, after the heavy influence of 1950's counter culture within Bebop. |

Well, can't say that trailer does anything for me. I'm not exactly a big fan of jazz or slice of life, though if there was some swing in there that would be a different story. I like that offshoot of the jazz genre more.

kinda seems like beck but hey i loved beck and samurai champloo so looking forward to it.......... just read all the comments about it looking yaoi and here i was hoping that ugly chick wasnt the love interest i quietly resign that complaint lol, the inevitable doujinshi *shudders*
