Trying to figure out this movie...

Hi all.

For the past few weeks i've been trying to figure out what movie I watched a few years ago...at least i'm preaty sure it was an anime movie.

I tried a few sights, looking at lists of anime movies...no luck. So I'll put up all the details i remember and see if anyone will be knowledgeable enough to tell me what its called.


The main char had this big gun...when he/she shot it, it made a .44 magnum noise (like dirty hairy). And when he/she reloaded, it was broken open like a double barrel shotgun...and when it was open it shot a flurry of little lasers or something like that.

It also had these hover tank thingies that had big baloons or something on em that squished to shoot energy projectiles or something similar.

Honestly, thats all i can remember well enough about it. I can't remeber is it was a good movie, just that i liked it at the time (i was like 10-12 mabie, dunno). If anyone knows the name, please let me know...thanks alot!
