Looks better than most action movie trailers. Can't wait.

Looks like Capcom is pulling gameplay elements from different RE's into one game, with Leon playing like in RE4, augmented team-based controls for Chris from RE5, and a new control scheme for the mercenary character.
Looks kinda interesting, though I wonder if it'll capture the campy horror spirit of RE4. RE5 kinda dropped the ball with its over-the-top action-oriented gameplay (not really horror, more like a thriller, though good in its own way). I hope RE6 brings back the scary!

It's all well and good to like RE4's campy horror spirit, but that game was clearly contrary to almost everything that made RE great for its first 10(ish) years. All thought-free action, all camp, no intelligence, and no real exploration, survival horror, or fear. It was a severely dumbed down installment in almost every regard (and hence became popular).
RE6 is clearly heading back to its RE2/3/Outbeak-style of fear, horror, and panic (at least for the majority of the trailer). I doubt there will be much intelligent puzzle solving, as the series seemingly did away with that starting with 4 (and I'm not sure how solving clock puzzles would fit with this trailer's pacing). And I doubt we'll ever see a realistic portrayal of RE characters ever again, as opposed to the superhuman variety the movies inspired 4+ to contain. But this looks far closer to what RE has always been best at, you know, actual zombie outbreaks in apocalyptic cities and all, even if the superpowered and over-the-top characters are here to stay. It looks infinitely better than Operation Raccoon City, at least. So far the trailer has me clinging to hope that this may get RE back on track.

I'm just wondering who Scarface is. I can definitely tell he's voiced by Troy Baker
