Just a few minutes ago on Adult Swim, there was a commerical in which a guy is dancing in his living room. The announcer asks "Hey, what are you doing?" He says "Watching Inuyasha." The announcer says "Why are you watching Inuyasha when you can BE Inuyasha?" Suddenly, the guy transforms in Inuyasha (more like an Inuyasha costume appears on him). Then, a bunch of other cosplayers appear, dressed as Edward Elric, (Fullmetal Alchemist) Harahara Haruko in her nurse outfit, (FLCL) Mamimi, (FLCL) Asuka, (Evangelion) and Jin (Samurai Champloo). They all dance around the room and the announcer says "SWIMCON!" I thought it was advertising an Adult Swim anime convention, but it was just a silly promo. It was pretty funny, though, and a change from the crappy comedy-oriented promos.

I think it was Dr. Girlfriend from The Venture Brothers, actually. It didn't fit with all the anime, but it definitely wasn't Haruko. I did like the commercial though.

I saw it too it was funny and there was a girl dressed like the major and she was hot, unlike most cosplayers i know, but was it a little too much? of course thats my parent side talking, i have no kids, i mean i remember thinking she was hot and then thinking if it was appropriate for adult swim. I mean have you guys seen what the major wears?

That was funny stuff...I'm guessing that this promo will only run later in the evening, cause the Major is working some "major" thong action!
 Lets hope its not emulated by a majority of people, haha!
I loved the Dr. Girlfriend costume, is Venture Bro.s' a go for a new season? Anyone else go to GenCon this past weekend? A girl there had a good Jin costume in the Anime contest! |

I'mno too sure that girl with the school girl was cosplaying Mamimi. I think she was just being some random unnamed school girl.

Well I would have to say that the cosplayers and costumes were well put together and overall the promo was very kewl.

I love to see people cosplay when it looks good. earlier today i went to Suncoast and I saw this girl dressed like Vash. She had a big red trench coat with bulletholes and even had the dumb little black cat on her shoulder and instead of wearing a cheap anime cosplay wig she spiked her hair and dyed it yellow. Its not every day you see a cosplayer who actually looks like its anime counterpart. The major and doctor girlfriend where the only ones who actually looked good IMO.
