Really old news, but http://www.hojo-tsukasa.com/voice-audition/index.html says newcomer Kawasaki Mao has been picked for the lead of Kaori.

Ah!!! It's Mao Kawasaki! ^_____^ How great~~ I'm familiar with her from the live action Sailormoon musicals, so it's neat to hear that she's breaking into seiyuu work. Ryuji Kasahara and Fumina Hara are also actors from the stage that have lately been doing voice work (Tennis no Oujisama and Aishiteruze Baby for those two, respectively). There's some others, like Yuuta Mochizuki, but these few are the ones that have done so the most recently. :X
