I don't think anyone would do that. Books just get to torn up after a while. Just look it over in the bookstore or something.

I am kinda cheap, but what i do is buy the books from borders. Then read it at home and have my mom return it for me.

You think that is cheap. Sometimes I go to Barnes and Nobles at the mall and just sit there and read manga then leave without buying any of it. I do this with a lot of 1st volumes to see if the series are worth buying. Then if I think they are worthy enough I will purchase them.

Thats not bad, honestly,, in my case that is, doing that actually made me buy some i wouldnt have bought anyways.

I read Negima, Imadoki, .hack, To Heart at borders/barnes and noble, and thats like, 15 total volumes i've bought that i may not have bought if i couldnt just sit down and read.

Because of that, im also probably gonna buy all of the Bleach books, and possibly Chr(o)no Crusade, For love or money, etc.

And it also helped by making me not waste money on series that caught my eye that i ended up not liking, like steel angel kurumi

There's a reason they let you do that (sit and read a book). Buying it, reading then returning it just causes them annoyance as opposed to just sitting down and reading it then putting it back. I mean, they're obviously doing very well businesswise so they're doing SOMETHING right. ^^

Borders >>> B&N tho...

You're a really big jackass. If you don't want the product just read it in the store. Even that's better than returning it like that. The bookstore isn't your personal library you dumb fudge.

LOL I know what you mean.

Everytime I go to the bookstore, there's always some jackass sitting on the floor with a stack of manga reading for hours. If they ever make a no sitting on floor policy for all books, everyone can blame it on the manga readers.
