About the question "How much are you willing to pay for a premium collection ?" it really depends on the runtime of the collection. If we're talking a 13 episode collection I'll be okay with spending much less than for a 26 episode collection. I answered based on a 13 episode collection since those are the most common these days but you may want to clarify it in the survey.

Thanks, I made that change (it's early enough that it won't noticeably effect the results)

some other things about DVD/BD release
- Do not want DVD/BD combo packs, either or not both
- Could you please try to include dvd only specials? stuff like seiyuu interviews and animated shorts like the one in Samurai girls.

I didn't select anything on the collector's options (pick 3) because it seems out of place when my other answer is I don't buy LEs.
I also don't agree with the "Pissed off" answer for the LEs only release. While I'm disappointed, I also know I can wait.
In fact, I'm rather surprised there's no "I can wait" answer for us cheap folk.
Interesting survey and I enjoy the direct questions without beating around the bush.
Obviously early for results viewing. I think my answers skewed most of them.
Just curious: what's behind the survey? Would this have anything to do with the recent Aniplex release of PMMM? No hurt feelings if there isn't an answer. Never hurts to ask.
Bye-nee!

Wow, looks like I'm the only one (so far) to state that $14.99 is the right price for a no-frills 13 episode set! That really surprises me; it's only logical for consumers to want everything for free, or as close as can be gotten to that while guaranteeing quality.

Agreed. Combo packs are awful, though I'll still happily buy them in lieu of a BD-only alternative.

Under the "What are your favorite extras for a premium set (pick 3)?" you have "Deleted scenes" twice

with all the free streaming I find it hard to buy about anything. Though my interest has also declined from when I was a teenager.

I have to say I'm a bit miffed with the lack of there being an "audio commentary" option for the DVD/BD extras question. It's usually one of my favorite things about releases, and I've noticed that nearly all of them have stopped it, so much that it doesn't even get a mention on this poll o_0
EDIT: To the user below me, isn't Apple still completely insane for not having capability for Adobe's flash due to their insistence of using the far inferior QuickTime? (or whatever they're calling it now)

I'm impressed at the "non-flash" option for the final question

Why are they awful? They don't appreciably raise the manufacturer's costs (nor are they much more expensive than non-combo releases), and they increase the potential sales (I'd have thought --- looking at the results of the survey so far I guess I may be one of the few non-BD respondents).

After I submit my answers, when it takes me to the next screen that has the little blue boxes to the right of the chosen answers, are those supposed to be the answer I chose? If so, something is SERIOUSLY messed up, as at least 9 of my answers were NOT what I'd actually chosen and submitted. So if that's the case, everyone should double check that it submitted the right answers.

The people who think they're awful are just the ones that don't use BDs or don't use DVDs, so they feel no need for the other. That, or they hate how they tend to come in DVD sized packaging.
But from what I've heard, they seem to do well for the companies, so those people are just gonna have to deal. I doubt we'll see a stop to them, not that I mind.

I'm pretty sure the "results" only has the choices of the first user who submitted.

I think the blue boxes are bars representing the number of responses for a given answer.
It would be nice to know how many total responses to the survey there were. Does a long bar represent five answers or five hundred?
