At was at Anime Castle recently and saw this statue

http://www.animecastle.com/catalog/models/completed-model-statues/final-fantasy-completed-statues/p_acmod-80473.html

I'm a pretty big fan of the FFVII statue, but never had enough money to buy one until recent.

I was speaking to the people at Anime Castle and they mention this is the last production run for these statues. Is that true? I mean I've seen these statues around for at least 5 years on and off.

I was wondering because I was thinking of buying something else with the money. Or is this really the last chance to get these statues?

Hm.. judging how popular Final Fantasy is (VII in particular, though I'm not really that big a fan), I'm sure the head honchos at Square/Enix will have some sort of anniversary re-release someday to milk more money out of the fans.

However, some companies also like to be jerks and just make them Limited Edition and stay that way when those items are actually gone.

If I were you'd I'd get it now before it's too late. You can always try saving up for the "future" re-release just in case, though.

Speaking about the FFVII statues, on the US Toyfair, Kotobukiya, displayed on their booth Final Fantasy 7 play arts series figures

(Hope this links works.)

Judging from the pictures, I think these look pretty nice.

Action-figures reported the retail price to be $20.

These figures will be available in Japan about Aug. 2005, cost about $38+USD.

Here's the link to the cloud figure. Even cooler.

I agree Tifa looks weird. When I received the sale sheet from Japan, I was quite shock how ugly it looked compared to the other 2.

Alias, those Koto statues are for Advent Children, that's why they look so different.

However, the FFVII game statues were shown at Toy Fair so there is a chance that Koto may be resoliciting them again this year.
