Kyousogiga-Mainly leaning towards it because I kind of like the art style
Nisemonogatari-Sequel Another-Probably the one that has my attention the most. I hope it ends up being creepy and doesn't lead into the guy falling for the... dammit it's gonna happen... The rest... eh... I'll probably look at Zero no Tsukaima F simply because I've seen all the other seasons might as well finish it off. Outside of having awesome figurines I don't know jack squat about Black Rock Shooter, so I might check that out as well... |

More shows will get announced, also this Fall has an unusually high amount of shows that will be 2 cour which means no shows will be replacing them in the Winter.
2 cour or longer shows are Guilty Crown, Gundam AGE, Fate/Zero, Bakuman 2, Phi Brain, Chihayafuru, Persona 4, Shana 3, Mirai Nikki, Hunter X Hunter and maybe Last Exile 2. If 5 of those shows were 2 cour than you would another 5 shows for Winter. |

Well, I was hoping to do the same thing I did with this past season and will be doing with this Fall season and make one into an indexed "master thread" that follows a season from Preview to postmortem, and just change the subtitle- You want to do it this time? I don't want to "claim" it but I really like the idea of having a dedicated thread that follows an entire season from beginning to end and am not sure how many people will dedicate themselves to it. I could do some of it here if you'd like. Index the series threads and such. |

With the fall season starting up, I guess anticipating for the next season would be chugging along sooner or later. Not too surprised at the usual light pickings for winter anime though I see some good stuff.
-Nisemonogatari and Natsume Yuujincho Shi are on my definite watch list since I've craved the prequels to both titles. -Black Rock Shooter- Assuming this is supposed to be the "action" half for the Noitamina lineup and I admit the premise has my interest from what I looked up on it. Will likely sample it to get a feel of things. -Kyousogiga- Just got a peek at a preview for the series and I have to admit it looks pleasing on the eyes and has a setting that screams fantastical. Will definitely give a look when it pops up in December. -Another- Premise gives off the impression this will be a horror/ suspense title of sorts. Will give it a look. |

Hmm. Truthfully, I don't know that I'll get around to doing the whole master thread thing. It's a cool idea though. If you or anyone else wants to do it then don't let me stop you. If you want me to add anything to this thread just let me know. |

ikillchicken, are you trying to tell me you're not hyped for Tantei Opera Milky Holmes 2???
It's true there is likely to be more winter shows announced as time goes on, but it's also my understanding that the Winter tends to be a lighter season (in terms of volume) than either Spring or Fall. Summer tends to be lighter, too. Which kinda suits me this Winter. I have a ton of titles in my BD/DVD backlog, so if I'm watching fewer currently airing shows, it gives me more time for that. Plus, Winter is the best season for a Canadian fan to attack a backlog. When it's freezing cold out and dark by 4pm, anime is the answer. What I noticed from that chart is that there is a bunch of OVAs/Specials and a movie I'm interested in. ikc, I'm assuming you are somewhat looking forward to the Berserk flick? |

Wow nice they finally ending Zero no Tsukaima. I will also watch Inu x Boku SS, Ano Natsu de Materu, and High Schol DxD. I love romantic comedies. High School DxD will probably similar to ZOmbie Desu which I enjoyed. The girl from Inu x Boku is a clone from Kamisama No memochu.

i wouldn't call the season 'slim pickings', given the large number of 2 cours series for the Fall season: Shana 3, Bakuman 2, Fate/Zero, Persona 4, Guilty Crown, Gundam AGE, Chihayafuru, Mirai Nikki, Hunter X Hunter and Phi Brain (dunno if Last Exile 2 is or not, thought it was but ANN only has 13 episodes listed) so add at least 10 to the list and its far from slim pickings
as for what sounds good from the Winter season, i'd say: Black Rock Shooter - based from the OVA i assume, so should be good Zero no Tsukaima F - watched all the others, so might as well finish off the series Natsume Yuujin-chou Shi - again, watched the rest so will watch this, although i'm more excited about this one Another - really excited about this, love the manga, really creepy and really mysterious Ano Natsu de Matteru - don't really know what it'll be about, but i enjoyed the Onegai series so i'll give this a go too Inu x Boku SS - not entirely sure what its going to be like but i'll try it High School D x D - sounds like another high school ecchi romance series and i usually end up watching 1 every season anyway so i might as well make it this one Nisemonogatari - another sequel so it gets a watch might possibly watch Kyousogiga and Recorder to Randoseru as wel, but not sure as well as there series, i'll be watching Shana 3, Bakuman 2, Fate/Zero, Persona 4, Guilty Crown, Chihayafuru, Mirai Nikki and Hunter X Hunter so overall, i'll have around 15 or 16 series to watch in the Winter season so as far as i'm concerned, the Winter season actually looks very, very good |

Not much besides more Natsume... but that's enough for me.
Say, that Gyo OVA-- is that *gulp* based on the Junji Ito manga of the same name? If so, count me in. (Did a quick search and yes it is. I totally missed this news when it was first announced. Well, that's certainly going to be worth a look.) |

Oh most definitely. I don't tend to think of movies by "season" so I didn't mention it but yeah. Definitely looking forward to that one.
Yeah, I was wondering about that. Are all of those confirmed to be 2 cour? Right now the only ones ANN actually lists as 24 eps is Future Diary, Phi Brain and Bakuman. If the rest are all 2 cour as well then I agree, that's much better. |
