What!? Has anyone heard of this? i was scrolling down the page on ANN for Cn broadcastings and Eva was on there. Is this goning to be on AS or somthing, or has it already happened?
I have yet to see the series, and will probaly just go out and buy it. (when i get money of course...) |

A couple years ago CN showed the first two episodes on Toonami for Giant Robot week

Where exactly did you see this? I know CN already aired Eva a couple times during "Giant Robot Week," but it was severely edited and didn't go to well with the folks at ADV.
And even if this were a rumor, I'm sure someone would've posted something already, unless you're the first  , but we need some proof first  .

Well, I just checked the Encyclopedia and CN is still listed as a broadcaster on there, though is does say Giant Robot Week next to it

Giant Robo week was it for CN, and because they aired those two eps that one time, they're listed as the broadcaster.

Eva will air on Anime Network. It will never air on a major channel. It'd attract fundies and protests like ants to honey

yeah, well, im not fourtunate enough to have the anime network, ecept On demand, and thy aren't showing it on there any time soon.....and i wasn't really into anime untill about a year ago so when i saw Giant Robot Week the only show i recognised was Gundam...

Eva has already aired on Anime Network and it is available on Anime Network on VOD.

Are you sure you recognized it? Gundam wasn't part of Giant Robot Week. GRW was Evangelion, Dai Guard, Nadesico, and Robotec with Gigantor segments and Lowbrow shown through out and wrapped up with Iron Giant on Friday.
