Guess even Cars 2 with Tokyo GP and j-pop Perfume isn't enough for Bayformers #1! Laughing

Still can't believe Pirates of the Caribbean is far-and-away the highest gross of the year there.......

Sort of predictable that if both movies are fill to capacity that a movie in 1/3 of the theaters of Pirates of the Caribbean would be 1/3 the gross as well.

3D helps boost the gross.

1.5 millions 4 naruto
very low number
the last 2 films ends with 11 millions that number seems so far 4 this.
is it bad movie I dont think its worse than the 3rd shippuden movie Question

Opening week-ends (in yen) based on Box office Mojo :

2011 : 120 491 389
2010 : 172 540 209
2009 : 190 637 018

The movie might be able to reach similar results to the previous ones in dollars given the evolution of the exchange rate, but in yen there is a noticeable decline and the numbers are indeed quite average, if not bad, as you've stated.
