Just going by the figures they've put out, I'm not expecting a great show to come from this, but maybe the source material is better than I think. Maybe we'll get a Witchblade instead of a Sekirei. |

Kinda dumb they do an anime for the spin off, but leave the main game un-animated, but I'll take what I can get. Its a spin off of one of the best VNs out there.
Also, don't let the fact its based on an eroge turn you off... that stuff was essentially just thrown in there for extra sales and is not what the game is about, similar to eroges like Fate/Stay Night and Kanon. |

That's kind of like calling Madoka a heartwarming magical girl anime. âge calls Alternative a fairy-tale of love and courage. It's just too big to animate and impossible to animate faithully without using omnibus format for Extra, which would turn away most who aren't interest in an average love comedy. Edit: Forgot to mention that a few months ago there was a leak about this at Moonphase. |

I seriously can't wait for this to be released. Anything to do with Muv Luv, be it a spin off or whatever, is gonna be all kinds of win. Definitely going to be on my top list of 'to' watch in 2012.

1. It's a masterpiece 2. There isn't really anything other like it. Real mecha epic that spans three games with memorable characters, a large helping of despair, quantum physics that almost make sense, visuals that beat most visual novels 10 to 1, Norio Wakamoto, amazing music... I think you got my got my point. It's a visual novel with a amazing story and great production values. You could just google "Muv Luv Alternative review", if you want to know more.
She won't show up in Total Eclipse. |

But what's up with the title Muv Wuv? It sounds lovey dovey like it's for the Twilight: Eclipse crowd. (That was the thought that first popped up.)

Probably has to do with the first part. Which is basically your standard harem VN. There's Muv Luv Extra, Unlimited and Alternative. You MUST play them in that order. And don't ignore anything in Extra. Some of the things in Extra are quite relevant to Alternative even if you don't realize it. |

I would think J.C. Staff wound be an awesome choice for doing a series like this. They have done several harems series and a good selection of mecha series too. |
