Is it just me or does that trailer look atrocious? I mean character animation-wise. Come on Bones, I know Sony (and whoever else is funding the movie) gotta be droppin' cash like there's no tomorrow!! >_>

I haven't gotten a peak at this film yet. Is it styled like Brotherhood?

The animation looks OK to me, but I'm not crazy about the shading-free, flatly colored character art. Hosoda's films get away with that kind of style, but for a Bones production it looks sloppy.

If this is the finished product, I'm definitely underwhelmed.

Everyone's thinking it, I'm saying it: This movie looks like shit. The very definition of pointless.

I guess people would be more interested if this was a sequel to Brotherhood, but that would be just as pointless, since the show and the manga had such a satisfying, definite conclusion.

Looks like a cash-in. They should've done a movie based on the Ishvalin war.

That would have been awesome . I would have loved to see that.
But anyways, yeah doesn't look too interesting. I hope it doesn't turn out to really suck but...

One of the problems I had with Brotherhood was how much stuff they cut out of the Ishvalian war flashback in order to fit it in a single episode. An extended, feature-length version would be great, but I don't think sponsors would want to invest in a FMA movie without the Elric brothers.

I saw the clip, and I do think there was too much CGI and it looked kinda ugly.

Wow. I hate to add to the hate, but I'm not impressed.

I think it looks fine, not sure what everyone is complaining about.
It's kind of hard to tell anyways when there quality is very low, shadow effects in the video as well as crappy frame rate

Ed's hair looks weird when it's moving in the wind.
