Glad to know that this is out. I was really surprised by how much I liked Queen's Blade considering that my interest in these types of shows has really dropped off. But the animation was good, which is a requirement when the main feature of a series is sexy ladies losing their clothes, and the story was better than expected. I suppose one of the big differences that made me like Queen's Blade more than many fan service series is that it doesn't use a boring male as lead character.

Has Luna Luna been in this show yet?

I hope United Publications are going to be importing this for sale in the UK as they usally sell import anime at decent prices and I know I'll be spending a obscene amount with them at the London MCM Expo in October.
As for extras in this series, the other distributors, especially Sentai and Funimation could learn a lot from Media Blasters as I think they're a bunch of cheap-ass bastards for not including proper extras!

I don't recognize that character name, so probably not.
And Captain Crotchspike: Sentai does have the full boat of Extras on some of their releases (Shigofumi and Guin Saga immediately spring to mind as examples), so don't make blanket generalizations.

Good review, given that I enjoyed Queen's Blade I do plan on getting QB 2 once the BD comes out. I am surprised to hear that the dub is improved over Season 1 given that I didn't find spotty quality wise.

I'm also looking forward to getting it for obivious reasons. Though this is a great series cause of a solid storyline, and it's on par with Popotan since it's also have a solid storyline too.
Also glad MB gave a dub for season 2, though why they changed Queen Aldra's voice?
I did not find anything wrong with the old one , and having a newcomer for her is also a head scratching moment. If there is one voice that should have been changed it's definitely nanael.

Can't wait to see this! I'm waiting for the blu-ray release of the full second season, though.
