Just out of curiousity, How long is Ranma 1/2 TV. Is there 7 seasons or is there more?
I heard after season 4 it gets kinda boring. |

oh yeah...my opinions on season 4  I didn't buy any of the VHS tapes past season 4 because I despise Richard Cox's voice as boy-type Ranma. I own all the VHS tapes up to that point (dubbed) and the first tape of season 4, but that's it. I haven't gotten that far with my DVD collection yet so I can't really give an opinion on the content.

Ranma got me into anime in the first place; It was my senior year in college, and a group of us got hooked on that silly show (This was in '96, when there were only a couple of seasons out.) I think the main reason we liked it so much was that it seemed like a funhouse-mirror tribute to our college lives, full of Shakespearian romantic complications, embarrasing transformations and hothouse passions, all in attractive, sunny settings.
To me the show gets worse the further it gets from the manga, and quality control across the board is really variable. I still read the manga. |

Thanks you guys.
I have read the manga up to book 12 (around 10 is when I think the series takes a downshift), but I was wondering if the anime got lousy around season 4. |
