It’s much more exciting than the tournament-style episodes that an earlier Zoids series had.

Meh. I thought the tournament episodes were a bit more different than the series it followed, but I guess partof it had to do with when I saw it.

I guess, CC is kinda like a thinking man's Pokemon (boy sets out on journey with nonhuman best friend, etc) with all the mecha stuff thrown in.

(Btw, if I correctly recall, the guns were not edited.)

Chrno Crusade like Pokemon? Mecha? Have you even seen the series?

I'm thinking he is refering to Chaotic Century, not Chrono Crusade.

But I can't wait to pick up Requiem from Darkness. Looks like a great show.

It's pretty fun if you enjoy following Japanese mythology. Plus, the character and background designs are unlike anything you've ever seen before in ANY anime.

the art style is what made that show very enjoyable to me. Sets the atmosphere perfectly.

How come it's always "your review is baseless and wrong and unfair" and not "I disagree with your review"? Why are anime fans so arrogant about this? You are not RIGHT about Zoids and Bamboo isn't WRONG; it's a review, it can't be defined as right or wrong.

In the same way that having an opinion about a review can't be defined as right or wrong?

That's true. For example, I am also one of those "card carrying members" of the evangelion fan legions. Vol. 2 is a must buy for me. But I know that there is also a legion of anti-evangelion peoples. It irks me when people complain about it, but not everyone can like everything, right?

Of course not, but be fair about it. What's your point anyway? They have a right to come in here and tell Bamboo she's completely WRONG and UNFAIR and talk in extreme black and white? No, they don't.

There's something called 'polite intelligent discourse'. They could come and say "I disagree with Bamboo's review, and here's why". But then, you're one of the ones who always screams and moans on the boards whenever someone publishes a less-than-A+ review of a title you like, so I guess you really wouldn't understand what I'm talking about. Dream Saga, anyone?
