No, it shouldn't. That's why it's japanese music. It loses the special meaning. Oh, and it's spelled "translated"

You mean dub the songs? Heck no. I hate dubbed songs, it takes away the authenticity.
I like Japanese songs for the sounds and vocals rather than the lyrics. The notes and pitches are very nice to listen to, and changing that sound from Japanese to English just deflates its value, to me anyway. No thanks, I'll pass.

I'll put up with them if and only if the singer is at least as good as the original. Dub songs usually make me cringe. If they get a great singer, I'll happily listen to it.
Umm... I think a good example of a good dub song would be Kingdom Heart's Simple and Clean, however on this one they got the original Japanese singer to sing it in English. Anyway, if they got a different singer who was just as good to sing it, I doubt I'd like it any less.

Well no not really generally
Kiki's delievery service on the other hand I like the English Dub music but why would they say she's alone when she's with Gigi on the trip??? Though they talk about love in Azumanga Daioh theme and is there any romance in Azumanga Daioh? Again confusing
Even though I like the music of Pokemon a bit I still could settle for it undub ... well like I said no not generally

technically, kiki was alone since she had no other humans. you can't really rely on a cat to like...get you through hard times or lend you money or something :p
there's some english versions that i like. like the blue gender ending song, that was alright. the record of lodoss war music was good, too. it all depends who does it, but hardly any one does it any more. so yeah...

I agree with most of you. i think that some can be transalated and still sound good. but i also like to listen to the japaneese tracks.
