I've seen trailers for the R1 release by Pioneer/Geneon and was wondering if any one here has seen it.
The reason I ask this is because I've looked up several DVD reviews, and a few them said that the last 40 or so minutes on the standard edition has out of sync Japanese audio. However, all of the reviews I read for the special edition didn't state this problem. Could someone out there confirm this and please tell me the results? If the audio is out of sync with the special edition, then I suppose I'll just have to import it. Thank you for any help!

I've seen it and have the Pioneer release and there is nothing wrong with my DVD. I bought it about two weeks ago and it was fine. And it is a really good movie, i first saw it a couple of months ago and liked it so much it became my name for the forum on this site.

Which edition do you have? I've seen numerous reviews for the Standard Edition saying the Japanese audio lags in the last 40 minutes.

I saw it while ago. I don't remember noticing anything wrong with it. But I don't remember what DVD that was.

Well, I guess I'll try renting it sometime instead to see if the rumor checks out or not. I suppose if I ever do buy it, I could always try exchanging it for another copy if the first one has that problem...
