So I was at Best Buy the other day, and I noticed the Full Metal Panic box set for a decent price. They didn't have what I wanted, so I picked this up. Unfortunately, after watching the first three episodes, my PS3 kind of froze up while starting episode four. The system didn't actually freeze, just the video, and I couldn't do anything except exit. I stopped playing it, and reloaded it to try again, and the same thing happened. So I tried playing it in my computer, and I was able to get it to play episodes 4-6, but it turned out that episodes 4-6 on the disc were actually episodes 15-17.

http://www.amazon.com/Full-Metal-Panic-Season-One/dp/B003NE8B4W/ref=pd_bxgy_d_img_c is what the packaging looks like, except instead of "Season One" on the front and side it says "The Complete Series", everything else is the same.

Has this happened to anyone else? I can't even seem to find this exact box set on the internet.

News link

It seems you got unlucky. Just contact Funimation and they'll send you a replacement disc.

Yeah that happened to me as well. If you don't want the
hassle of waiting for a replacement disc, just return it to
Best Buy. This is a defective product, so they will replace it
for another set of the same show. Make sure the store you
go to has it in stock, and maybe a slightly larger store in a
busy area might have a more recent copy. I noticed that
the second set had a newer catelog in it, and it worked fine.

Oh, cool, thanks a lot for the link. I would just take it back, or go to another best buy, but the closest Best Buy (the one I got it from) is a little over an hour away and I highly doubt they have another copy in stock. Their selection has been terrible for some time now.
