I guess Disney is still determined to crush Ghibli, even in their own backyard. :)

I know you're joking but this is pure nonsense.

All I can say is that this kind of relates to that line in Jurassic Park. "God creates dinosaurs, God destroys dinosaurs, God creates man, Man destroys god, Man creates dinosaurs"
only sort of non sequential. "Disney creates animation, Disney destroys animation with its crappy sequels, Disney inspired anime, anime makes better animation than Disney, anime makes Disney animation.'
Forgive me, it's midnight and I have no caffine left in my body.

If you are going to bash Disney, actually do your homework. If you did you'd know that Oriental Land Company, Tokyo Disneyland's owner, are not part of Disney.
They aren't owned by Disney, they pay Disney for the rights to use the Disney characters and name in their park. Disney watches them with an iron fist, forcing them to standards higher than what they themselves adhere to. In a nutshell, if OLC makes an anime, it's in no way related to Disney. Disney didn't make it, they're not distributing it. End of story. Educate yourself next time before making blanket statements.

Quote: | Oriental Land plans a 15-minute educational show tentatively called "Neposu Kodomo Club" |
With a 7 minute animated cartoon part, strictly speaking.

Man, for some reason this whole thing reminds me of that Disneyland NES game Capcom made a while back. "Adventures in the Magic Kingdom," or somesuch. And it had RPG elements! I think.
