I really love this site. This is why it saddens me that now the adds are permanent no matter what i do on the site. Let me explain further.

The main reason is because some of these adds are somewhat explicit in my opinion and I'm a conservative Anime watcher (yet I am young so my point should not be looked at like I am some old legalistic dope).

I understand that in Anime these kinds of titles are very popular but I don't enjoy them flashing in my face.

I may have to switch websites if the permanent add is not changed.

In the top right corner of your screen there's a tab marked "My ANN".

Click on "Skins".

Change your skin using the drop-down menu to whatever else you would like. That will remove the ad overlay on the front page if you're personally offended by the content.

If you are referring to the Sekirei ad then you can set your background to a different anime under myANN > skins. That only helps when you are logged in but since you are making posts with an account I don't see why that would be an issue.

Also some of the flash based banners can be blocked with Flashblock if you use Firefox. That stops all flash based applications from playing without your consent.

Really? Are you serious? I can't wait for the new generation of fans. There are nothing wrong with the ads. Japanese animation aren't cartoons. Please realize this.
