Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu (TV) | Excellent | This is so funny you can watch it a lot of times. So much craziness in only 12 episodes. You'll love Bonta-kun and Sousuke's behavior until the end. Nice, expressive OST by the way. |
Fullmetal Alchemist (TV) | Masterpiece | I love this story, even how sad it is. I love its characters. I love how alchemy is like. I love the steampunk design, the character design. In fact, I love this anime, and so will you if you still didn't do. In my opinion, there are two main points of view in this story. On one hand the adult, homonculus one where everything is summed up in political/domination(human foolishness it is) matters and on the other hand, the brothers' one. This one is depicted very harshly and we can see that even if they're only weak children, as long as they have got alchemy skills and work for the military they are treated like adults. By this way, they have to become more and more grown-up to face the reality of things, which is embodied by equivalent trade. However, they still keep a child's eye on everything and this sensibility gives to this anime lots of emotions. |
Fullmetal Alchemist: The Movie - Conqueror of Shamballa | Excellent
(The) Girl Who Leapt Through Time (movie) | Excellent
GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka (TV) | Very good
Howl's Moving Castle (movie) | Excellent
INTERSTELLA 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem (movie) | Excellent | At first it's really bizarre because of the lack of dialogues, but Daft Punk's music perfectly accompanies the actions and emotions. The scenario is simple, but still very good too. Nice french-japanese collaboration. N.B : The OST : Discovery by Daft Punk is awsum! |
K-ON! (TV) | Very good | Let's sum it up in three words : kawaii, kawaii, and... kawaii. Simply the story of some friends in a music club. You start watching and you become attached to Yui, her sister and their so cute friends. A warm atmosphere created by shy characters and elements and surrounded by music make this anime so pleasant to see. However everybody might not like it. |

Porco Rosso (movie) | Very good | Interesting but a little bit slow at the beginning, and there isn't as much material as in other Miyazaki's movies. Anyway, still a very good movie. |
Princess Mononoke (movie) | Masterpiece | Truly good movie. Impressive, just watch it. |
Samurai Champloo (TV) | Masterpiece
Spirited Away (movie) | Masterpiece | Hayao Miyazaki's masterpiece among his anime masterpieces. |
Summer Wars (movie) | Excellent |
